John Mathews established The Cove Workshop in 1979 and produced bespoke furniture across Europe for 38 years.
Now enjoying his retirement, John is passionate about the wonderful pastime of marquetry and developings skills in woodwork, wood inlays and local crafts.
John's entire working life has been devoted to the trade of timber and the exotic crafts of turning a natural material into something beautiful. By changing the focus of The Cove Workshop, John now gets the opportunity to provide others with a unique piece of art in the home.
